At the Beaver Dam Unified School District, our goal is to be a school district of excellence, respected for our individualized approach to education, academic rigor and our service to all students, parents and community. Our position as a leader in education provides us the opportunity and the responsibility to set an example for education in the state in a manner that is consistent with our core belief: all students will be successful in all academic areas. Most critically, we believe our commitment to academic excellence every day for every student is not only our job, it is a moral imperative.
To that end, we individualize instruction for students, we remove roadblocks to student success, we open advanced curriculum to all students, we provide appropriate rigor to every child and we work hand in hand with students’ parents.
Our pursuit of academic excellence extends beyond the traditional school day. Our students learn before and after school, on Saturday, in traditional classrooms, online, on the field, in the gym and around our community.
We recognize that our employees are central to student success. Our employees are the most important variable in creating the learning atmosphere in which our students grow. We are committed to treating each other with dignity and respect every minute of every day.
We are extremely proud of our accomplishments in all academic areas and of our role as educational leaders in the State of Wisconsin. We know there is much work yet to be done. On behalf of the Beaver Dam Unified School District, I invite you to review the contents of our website and learn about our pursuit of academic excellence for every student, every day.
