BDMS Automated Attendance Caller
Beginning on January 30th, Beaver Dam Middle School will use an automated calling system to contact
families when a student is absent and the school has not been notified. This automated calling
system has been very effective at our high school and some elementary schools. However, as with
any new system there may be a few “wrinkles” to iron out once the system has been initiated.
We all know how important consistent attendance is for a student’s academic success. It is also
equally important for students to arrive to school on time (7:35 a.m.). Students who arrive late
miss important homeroom announcements and all late arrivals must report to the student services
office prior to going to their locker and first hour class. Thank you parents for monitoring your
child’s attendance and arrival time to school. Your support in this matter is greatly appreciated.
If you should have any questions regarding the automated attendance caller system, please contact
Cyd Rohr, BDMS attendance secretary at 885-7365 ext. 3119.
